Eric Hencken, ASA, MRICS, is specializes in cost segregation studies and tangible personal property/machinery and equipment appraisals. He has provided these services to clients in a variety of industries for over twenty years. He has worked in the valuation consulting groups at Standard & Poors, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Arthur Andersen. Eric has performed and managed cost segregation studies on hundreds of properties, including hotels, senior living facilities, manufacturing facilities, research & development facilities, office buildings, hospitals, golf courses, and retail properties. Eric also has extensive experience in tangible personal property/machinery and equipment valuations for tax, book, insurance placement, due diligence, and business planning purposes across a variety of industries including Healthcare, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Chemical, Food Processing, Cable and Telecommunications. He has also been a speaker at several seminars and conferences on the topic of cost segregation and valuation. Eric earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) in Machinery and Technical Specialties with the American Society of Appraisers and is a former President of the Philadelphia Chapter. Eric is also a member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (“ASCSP”) and a Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (“HFMA”).
